Free quote at your premises during business hours
Our plumbers DO NOT charge a callout fee when they visit your premises during business hours (7am to 5pm Monday to Friday). This free service includes a short inspection of the job site for the purpose of providing you a fixed-price no-obligation quote. It does not include any work or use of specialised equipment whilst at your premises.
If you require emergency after-hours plumbing, your local franchisee will confirm their callout fee on the phone with you before booking a time to visit your premises to provide a quote upon inspection.
Accepted payment methods
We accept a variety of different payment options which can be made on-site to your plumber. Our franchisees do not offer accounts for residential jobs, and require payment either upfront or upon completion of the job.
### Credit card
We accept VISA, Mastercard and AMEX. Payment can be made on-site via a portable EFTPOS machine.
### Direct deposit
You can pay online using using internet banking if you show your plumber a proof of receipt before they leave.
### Cash
Cash is always the best and easiest way to pay. Your plumber will issue you an invoice and provide a cash receipt upon payment.

Do I have to pay upfront?
We require either upfront payment, or upon completion of the job before your plumber leaves. This enables our franchisees to not have to worry about chasing accounts so they can instead focus on delivering quality plumbing at affordable prices.
If I am happy with the quote, can my job be done immediately?
Especially for smaller jobs, our plumbers often can do your job on-the-spot after you receive a quote. However this will be dependent on their availability, materials, equipment and other factors, so it is best to inquire about this beforehand.
For emergency plumbing, your local plumber will discuss this with you on the phone before they arrive in preparation.
Are there any fees for the different payment methods?
Some of our franchisees will charge a very small fee for what their bank charges them if you pay via credit card. This is minimal and they will let you know beforehand.
For cash and direct deposit payments, there are no fees.
How does Jim’s Group National Guarantee work?
In the event you are not happy with the job one of our plumbers does, we have a resolution process to ensure any sub-standard work is fixed free of charge. You can find more details about this process here.
What are the callout fees for after-hours quotes?
If you have a plumbing emergency and need one of our plumbers to visit afterhours, they will let you know exactly how much they will charge as a callout fee before the job is booked over the phone. This may differ between franchisees and the time of the day/night you require them.
Be aware of other plumbing companies that say they offer ‘free callout fees’ or ‘daytime rates’ for afterhours jobs. Generally they will increase their prices in other areas to accommodate this. Our plumbers will be upfront with how much they will charge to visit your premises afterhours, and then give you a reasonably priced quote to do the work upon inspection.
